THE REALITY
Most of our missions in Africa lack basic educational facilities. We
consider this unfortunate because this condition continues to perpetuate ignorance
and retard human progress.
OUR RESPONSE
Our founder, Venerable Melchior de Brésillac asked his
missionaries to invest time and energy into education because it provides holistic
development to the human person. He saw education as having two goals: educating
the heart to be morally upright and forming the spirit to be intelligent and well-
ordered towards achieving goals (cf. Ven. Melchior de Brésillac, SM,429-430.431).
Our goal therefore is to provide infrastructure and other supports to many of our
educational institutions ranging from kindergarten primary and secondary schools in
Africa.
